Certification on completion
Students will receive a digital Certified FinTech Practitioner credential issued by London Institute of Banking and Finance, a one year membership of Associate Financial Technologist (金融科技師), a professional designation, offered by IFTA

No this is not a technical programme – it’s about the impact, challenges and opportunities of new business models and technologies and how they are impacting the evolution of the financial industry and products
You will acquire skills and knowledge that will be relevant to any role within a FinTech or digital team in an established financial services firm.
The global recognition of LIBF certifications and qualifications stands out among our peers. We have offered this program to banks, regulators and Fintech universities.
The total duration is 6 weeks. All learning materials are online with quizzes and a reflective journal at the end of the course. The program is supported by 12 webinars of 45mins by practitioners, which will also be recorded.
We keep a close eye on the development of financial technology and system, hence the webinars for each cohort is as current as of the industry trends. The e-learning materials are reviewed annually.
Approximately 36 hours
Total learning hours per week – between 4hr 45min to 6hr 15min
30 mins - 1 hour of warm-up using curated LendIt Fintech videos
1.5 hours of video lessons (in 10 min episodes)
2 x 45-minute webinars - fireside chat with the senior practitioner, update on latest developments/local developments or case study
As an online program, the digital badge is the equivalent of a certificate.
The plan is to run this every 6 months, but if the interest picked up, we can consider running this every 3 months.
Attendance and pass the modular quiz. Submission and a pass in the reflective journal.
It will only be known at a later stage and only to the participants after signing up. These sessions are on a weekday evening and they will be recorded.
Yes. The recording will be in the Brightspace LMS.
Yes. Watching the recording will be counted into the attendance.
A thoughtful submission based on the objectives of the journal exercise.
You need to appeal to IFTA and resubmit the learning journal if approve. If your journal submission is complete, you can re-submit only once and the decision is final.
The standard release date will be 4 weeks later, but it also depends on the cohort size.
