IFTA One-day Trip to Shenzhen

On April 28th, IFTA had an amazing trip to Shenzhen where we visited several organizations to discuss potential collaboration in fintech. Our first stop was at Ping An Innovation Lab (中國平安), followed by a productive meeting with the Financial Services Bureau of Luohu District (羅湖區金融服務署). Later in the afternoon, we visited Kingdee International Software Group Co. Ltd（金蝶國際軟件集團有限公司）and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (中國科學院深圳先進技術研究院) to share the development of fintech in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

To cap off the day, we had a wonderful dinner arranged by the Shenzhen International Fintech Research Association (深圳市國際金融研究會),  Quanzhou Financial Holding Group (泉州金控集團), and the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (中國科學院深圳先進技術研究院). During the dinner, we signed a Fintech strategic cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen International Fintech Research Association (深圳市國際金融研究會) and the QuanZhou FinTech Association (泉州市金融科技協會). We want to express our gratitude to Mr. Hung (洪志令) and Mr. Ren (任廣斌) for signing the agreement and dedicating themselves to fintech collaboration between Hong Kong and Mainland.

We would like to thank Prof. Keung (姜青山) and Prof. Steven Wei for organizing the trip and logistics. It was a truly enriching experience, and we are excited to continue exploring collaboration opportunities that arose from our visit to Shenzhen. By working closely with our counterparts in Shenzhen and the Mainland, we believe that we can achieve great things and contribute to the growth and development of the fintech industry in Hong Kong and beyond.
